This works for me
I’m totally digging this unnecessary mashup

Fantastic promo for Ratatat, made from stock video from Getty Images. Clever, hypnotic and fairly disturbing

It was a fairly epic weekend of music at the Big Chill this year – my highlights were Thom Yorke, Alice Russell, Roy Ayers (why wasn’t he on the outdoor stage in the afternoon though?) and the incredible Mount Kimbie who I’m tipping for Boards Of Canada-like greatness. Somehow managed to miss Mike Patton which was top of my list. Hey ho.
Anyway, after everything was said and done, we were the last men standing and the whole radio station closed at 2pm on Monday with this track.
I write music for film with the incredible Dan Berridge, a.k.a. Broadway Project
Here’s a couple of pieces we wrote recently for a thing we’re doing.
Note: to be listened to on HUGE SPEAKERS. Thanks
So on Tuesday morning I head to Ledbury to run the radio station at the Big Chill Festival once again, for the seventh year.
I’ll be in charge of a team of twenty producers, journalists, engineers and fresh-faced radio enthusiasts. Nothing like turning up in an empty field with a pile of equipment and a transmitter and rustling up a radio station out of thin air. Obviously I’m massively prejudiced, but all the best music seems to come out of the radio station…
All the DJ talent (not the DJ Talent), artist interviews, features, and on-air blither from Thursday morning to Monday morning. I’ll be posting mixes and features on here afterwards.
You can follow the happenings on Twitter at @bigchillradio
Mixes will be appearing online from Monday 9th August on Mixcloud
